Customer Service Associate

Wiggins Telephone Association d/b/a Blue Lightning has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Assistant. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact for new customers, will assist customers with billing inquiries, new service requests, disconnects and special deposits. This person should be able to complete paperwork for service applications and disconnects, investigate credit references of new customers and perform collection functions on delinquent accounts. This position will assist in carrying out marketing plans and strategies to increase the use and sale of equipment and services.

Knowledge of and ability to use computer software using word processing and spreadsheet programs is required and experience with MACC Customer Master will be given strong consideration.

A clean driving record is a must and the successful candidate will be requested to submit to a Motor Vehicle Records Release on their current license for insurance purposes. The successful candidate is required to live within 30 minutes of the business office in Wiggins.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour
